In her latest single, Taylor Dye proves that bad habits can sound great. “Bad Habits” was released on May 11th, 2018 and is Taylor’s first release since her freshman album Believe in the Sun (2016).
Complete with a nod to Taylor’s favorite bourbon, Woodford Reserve, “Bad Habits” is a tune that makes listeners want to sing along with the windows down. Taylor, who played acoustic guitar herself in the recording, admits that she had a lot of fun making it. “This is the first song I’ve released since moving to Nashville roughly a half a year ago,” Taylor explains. “I’ve really been exploring my sound during the past year, and I think that’s evident in the song.”
“Bad Habits” has been receiving airplay on several terrestrial radio stations in and around Kentucky. It can be found on Apple Music, iTunes, and Spotify, where it has already been featured on a variety of playlists.
Born and raised in Booneville, KY, Taylor’s music career began at the young age of five when she began performing professionally. She began writing her own songs at the age of 12 and later went on to study music at Georgetown College. Taylor Dye now resides in Nashville, TN, where she frequently performs and continues to write her own music.
Taylor Dye is now booking shows for Summer & Fall 2018. For more information regarding upcoming appearances, visit tayloraustindye.com and subscribe to her YouTube channel at youtube.com/tayloraustindye.
