June 24-25: Frosty Freezes and Farmer's Markets

Hi y'all and welcome back! This past week was the slowest I have had in a while and to be honest, I didn't know what to do with myself with the spare time. I had one show on Friday and one on Saturday, so the rest of the week I caught up on some cleaning, sleeping, Family Feud, and...did I mention sleeping?

June 24: Midland Frosty Freeze
I had never been to the Midland Frosty Freeze before (or to Bath County in general) but I loved it the minute I walked in! The drive there had the most amazing views of Cave Run Lake; it was just beautiful! When we arrived, it was such a home-y atmosphere. It was like going to your small hometown diner and talking  to all your neighbors and friends! My family got the chance to eat while I sang, and they said the food was delicious! I was only scheduled to sing for 2 hours, but I ended up singing for over 3! I am scheduled to be back at the Frosty Freeze in the month of September, so if you are in that area, be sure to come out and see me!

June 25: Richmond's Farmer's Market

The Downtown Richmond Farmer's Market was a lot of fun! There were about 20 vendors set up selling everything from homemade cookies to tie dye shirts. John and I were under a tent (thankfully) where we played for a couple hours. It was oh so hot and we were both soaked in sweat by the time it was over. One of my favorite parts of the day was getting the chance to meet a listener of Songbird Radio which is always awesome! I posted a couple live videos from that day on my Facebook page: www.facebook.com/taylordyemusic so go check them out! The ones posted are a sneak peek of two songs on my upcoming album!

Thanks so much for visiting with me again this week! Next week I have about 5 different performances so expect a post on that soon after the 4th! Thank you all for your continued support and encouragement!
